One of them now has a page of its own: the Etsy fee calculator, which reports what Etsy’s fees take as a share of your margin rather than just the dollars. Alongside it, the Facebook Ads ROAS calculator works out the return an ad campaign has to clear before it is worth running. And the return cost calculator works out what returns take out of every order that actually arrives, which is more than the return rate suggests. And the shipping cost calculator shows what postage and packaging take out of the profit on an order, and the order value at which free shipping stops paying for itself.

Most sellers count the shipping label and stop. This adds the two lines that hide: payment fees on the postage, and returns spread across every order that arrives perfectly. Nothing is sent anywhere — it all runs in your browser.

Etsy title and tag builder

Describe the item in plain words. This builds a title that follows Etsy’s April 2026 guidance — item first, under fifteen words — and fills the thirteen tag slots with phrases that actually fit inside twenty characters. No signup, nothing sent anywhere.

The method behind each one

Each calculator is the short version of a longer post. The true cost tool comes out of the month I ran my own numbers and found a 6% margin — the two lines it adds, payment fees charged on the postage and shipping you absorb as free, are worked through there.

The pricing calculator follows the handmade pricing formula, and if someone else makes your pieces, costing that labour is its own problem. The title and tag builder follows Etsy’s current advice on titles, which changed this year.
